This years theme is “Return of the Arcade.” The challenge is to make an Amiga game that could sit in a classic arcade cabinet. Think fast, exciting gameplay that grabs players from the first moment. Easy to pick up, tricky to master, and always leaving players wanting to come back and insert another credit. Arcade games are all about instant fun, fast-paced action, and the thrill of skillful play. They usually focus on short, exciting sessions with clear goals: scoring points, defeating waves of enemies, completing levels, or racing against the clock. (Source: AmiGameJam2025)
The game is complete and ready to play! That said, because development time was limited, some details and improvements will be added in an upcoming version.
We started working on this game in July 2025.
The game is made with Blitz Basic 2.1 and Deluxe Paint V on original A4000 (030) Amigas.
All graphics are hand pixeled and no AI was used.
Novel Oi (organic intelligence) driven development.

The story:
The year is 2078. Earth is lost. A spider invasion has rendered our planet uninhabitable. These monstrous creatures, breeding unchecked across the solar system. For decades, whispers circulated of a colossal spider, Goliath, intent on claiming Earth as it’s nest. Now, it’s reality. The spiders grow stronger. Humanity’s end is near. You are our last hope. A lone warrior chosen to embark on a desperate mission into the black void. Your task: to confront the gargantuan Goliath, slay the beast, and save what remains of the human race. The fate of humanity rests on your shoulders. Good luck. You’ll need it.
Review:
What makes Creepy Crawlers Goliath:Reloaded stand out is its pure arcade philosophy. It’s easy to pick up, instantly readable, and brutally addictive. You’ll lose a life, blame the spiders, insist the hit detection was unfair, and then immediately press restart for “just one more go.” That’s the magic of classic arcade design, and this title captures it perfectly. Fast, frantic, and filled with more legs than a furniture warehouse, Creepy Crawlers Goliath:Reloaded is a love letter to old-school arcade shooters with a delightfully creepy edge. Whether you’re a long-time Amiga enthusiast or just someone who enjoys turning oversized insects into pixel dust, this is one infestation you’ll actually want to experience.

Downloaded it today, family is really excited about this one. Reminds us of the older shooters. Looks excellent! You already know I'm a Sky Shapers fan! ;)
Awesome!! That is so cool! Thank you so much for the nice comment! We are working on a new version with some bug fix, new features and adjustments :) Some time after the AmiGameJam livestream next Sunday we will announce the improved version of Sky Shapers! Stay tuned!!
I am so excited to hear that! WOOOOO!!!!
Awesome Work. Love the 80's arcade experience. You Nailed it. Good Luck in the Jam!
Wow! Thank you so much🤗 Comments like this really makes it all worth while doing game development. Thank you so much😊
A very good new type of shooter. I added it to my video along with other games released in February.
Thank you so much 🤗🤗 This is awesome! Hope you will give us a rating in the AmiGameJam 2025 to help us get far😊
Fantastic work. Will get an emulator going and check it out!
Thank you so much! 🤗 It would be awesome if you gave us a rating in the AmiGameJam 😊
Very nice space shooter. The sample in the intro apparently comes from "Alien Breed II" (1993) by Allister Brimble. Our German-language review can be found at 02:05:07. English subtitles are also available. Subscription to our YouTube and Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂
Thank you so much for playing our game and making a review! So happy you enjoyed it😄. Good spotted! There is one samle taken from the very start of the Alien Breed intro, but mostly samles from various spiders in the PS2 version of Lord of the rings. So it’s a remix of many things😄
As a long-time webmaster of an internet radio station that focuses on chiptune remixes and original tracks, one has to have a certain ear for such things. 😊 But this doesn't detract from the game at all - on the contrary! It fits the story and the scenario very well. 🙂
Thank you so much🤩 Hope we well dropp us a rating on the game in the AmiGameJam 🤗
Great work ! :-) Another labour of love !
Thank you so much for the kind words and for playing our game :-)
While we were first to get the news out there for Sky Shapers, sadly due to health I couldn't feature Creepy Crawlers until today! Thankfully Saberman already did a video of this awesome game. Keep up the great work!
Saberman was really quick this time! Only two hours after release! But health must come first. We are so honored that you feature our games on your channel. We love the work and effort you put into it. If you have any questions about the game just ask😄
And thank you so much for the kind words. Indie game development is the best hobby we can imagine and we will definitely keep making games in the future.
Retro Hugs!
